Aries Fire, Virgo Truth— and Inanna’s message for you

Blog

My daughters, my sisters, my priestesses—

I have never been lost to you.

They may have buried my temples beneath the sands.

They may have stolen my names and rewritten my stories.

They may have taken my crown and placed it upon the head of a man, calling him king while they cast me into shadow.

But I have never been lost to you.

I am Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth.

I am the first light of the morning star and the last ember of the dying fire.

I am the womb of creation and the roar of the lioness in battle.

I have always been here. And so have you.

You have been told that power belongs to men.

That the heavens are ruled by a father, and the earth must submit.

That wisdom is held in books written by men’s hands, and that your knowing, your deep, embodied knowing, is nothing but a whisper in the wind.

But I tell you now: they lied.

Before their gods wore crowns, I walked among you. Before they built their empires on war, I ruled in love. Before they named the feminine weak, I stood as the living embodiment of power, of sensuality, of sovereignty.

And they feared me for it.

Do you see? It was never about holiness. It was never about salvation.

It was about control.

To erase the goddess was to erase the memory that women had ever ruled, that they had ever been worshiped, that they had ever held the keys to the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth.

And so, they cast me down.

They made a new story, one where the gods reigned alone, one where the priestess became the whore, where the sacred rites of love became sin, where the temples that once held the wisdom of the heavens were left to crumble into dust.

And now you walk in the ruins of that world.

But I tell you this: I have not gone.

And neither has your power.

It is written in your bones, in your blood, in the way your heart quickens when you hear a truth that cannot be spoken but is known.

It is in your fire, in your sensuality, in your refusal to be tamed.

It is in your remembering.

I did not fall, my daughters. I descended.

I chose to enter the underworld, to walk into the depths, to strip myself of every title and garment and stand naked before the void.

And I rose.

And now, so will you.

I am here to remind you that the descent was never meant to be the end of the story.

The goddess does not stay in the underworld.

She returns.

And with her, she brings a truth that can no longer be silenced:

That the world was never meant to be ruled by men alone.

That power without love is destruction.

That the rise of the goddess is not the fall of man, but the restoration of balance.

I call you now to this remembrance.

I call you now to reclaim what was stolen.

I call you now to take your place in the story, not as the victim, not as the forgotten, but as the sovereign, the priestess, the force of creation itself.

There is work to do.

Rise, and let us begin.

In devotion and power,

Inanna

The story of Inanna is the oldest written myth we have—a goddess who ruled, descended, and returned. She was once worshiped in temples where women held power, where the sacred was embodied, where sovereignty was unquestioned.

And then, her story was rewritten. The gods took her throne. The temples fell. And the world changed.

But now, the goddess speaks again.

And she speaks to you now, as the shadows stir and the fire reignites—

As Aries season begins, calling us into rebirth.

As Eclipse season strips away illusions, forcing us to face what we are truly made of.

Eclipses are not gentle. They burn. They bring endings, revelations, the upheaval we would rather avoid.

But Inanna knows this journey well—she was the first to descend.

She knows what it is to be stripped bare. To surrender to the darkness. To face every fear and rise again not as she was before, but as something more.

Aries is the fire that follows the fall.

The sign of the sovereign. The warrior. The woman who does not ask for permission to take up space.

This is the moment when the ones who have descended return.

Not as they were before.

Not small, not broken, not pleading to be seen.

But whole. Crowned. Unapologetically here.

You do not rise as the same woman who fell.

You rise knowing.

May you listen.

May you remember.

May you return in your full power.

With fire and love,

Sarah & Kelly
