It was wonderful to see so many of you Monday on my Facebook live. Together we did a welcoming winter ritual and talked about how to embrace the energy of this season. If you missed it, you can watch the recording here.
At the end of the Facebook live ritual I also talked more about Wise Woman Winter. I can’t believe it’s only a month away! We’ve received a ton of great questions about the retreat yesterday and over the last several weeks. I know that taking the leap to enroll is a big decision, so I want to take some time to walk you through the questions and comments I’ve received to help you make the right choice for you.
What can I expect?
Imagine driving up a snowy path (plowed of course!) to a warm, beautiful lodge in the woods. You are greeted by 25 other women just like you who are ready to start their year in a totally new way. You feel the excitement. You take off your coat, get a hot cup of tea, and start to notice the details. Flowers, candles, a mandala. Everything is curated to make this weekend exquisite just for you. And then we begin.
I sit alongside you and guide you through ritual, ceremony, dance, and meditation to connect you with your Inner Wise Woman. Between our sessions, we dine together around the fireplace in my home, eating healthy, delicious food. You feel nourished, lit up, and sacred, and from that place, you are ready to plan a year that makes you feel this way all the time. To read more about what I have planned and see photos from the last retreat, you can get the invitation here.
What if I’m not spiritual or into magic?
You don’t have to have any prior experience with spirituality to come to Wise Woman Winter. I will guide you through many practices, some familiar and some that may be new to you. All I ask for is curiosity. This retreat is for open-minded, soulful women who want more in their lives, who are done playing small and are ready to step into a new way of being. No experience required.
It’s a bad weekend for me. It’s too close to the holidays and I shouldn’t take time off.
I deliberately scheduled Wise Woman Winter the first weekend in January so that we can harness the energy of the New Year and start 2018 off with total alignment and authenticity. I have heard from some people that they feel like they need more time after the holidays to recoup or are worried about taking time off so early in the year. While I honor your desire to take care of yourself and your commitments, I want you to notice if you have a pattern of not going for something because it feels inconvenient. Is that keeping you in a place of playing small and staying stuck? It’s never easy to get away or to do something for yourself but it is always worth it. I’m asking you to dig deep, to stick your neck out, to take a day off and to make this happen for you yourself if you know you’re meant to do this work.
I want to come, but it’s too much money.
My friend Kate Northrup once told me “make how you spend your money a prayer for what you want more of in your life.” I’ve planned a luxurious retreat that will make you feel cared for and inspired as you craft the next phase of your life. I spent a long time sitting with the investment for this retreat and this was the lowest I could make it while still being able to provide you this exquisite care and nourishment. If this pricing will not work with your budget, I do not want you to go into major financial strain to come. But, if what you are feeling is resistance, know this is normal. It’s always uncomfortable to spend money on ourselves especially when we’re not getting a thing like a washing machine or a refrigerator. I invite you to sink down and listen to your Inner Wise Woman. Does she want you to set aside your resistance and come anyway?
It would be such an honor to have you at Wise Woman Winter this January. This transformational and intimate experience is only open to 26 women and we only have a few spots left. To get more details and save your spot click here.
