#WholeWomanChallenge Week 8: Eat Without Distractions

Can you believe it? We’re halfway through the Whole Woman Summer Challenge. I hope this challenge has inspired you so far to add more juicy, sacred moments to your summer. To spice things up for the rest of the season, I’m adding a giveaway!

Here’s how it works: whenever you post your weekly challenge pic on Instagram or Facebook with @sarahjenks and #WholeWomanChallenge, you’ll get an entry. For this week, I’m bringing back an old favorite. Seriously, this one can change your life. It’s been a while since I’ve written to you about food, healing emotional eating, and Live More Weigh Less. Even though I haven’t been talking about it as much lately, creating a loving relationship with your body is an essential part the Whole Woman lifestyle.

This Week’s Whole Woman Challenge: Eat Without Distractions

This week, your challenge is to clear away the distractions, so that you can listen, LISTEN to what your body wants and needs and really use all your senses to savor your food. I want you to pick at least one day to eat without distractions (or one meal every day of the week). That means no phone, TV, book, magazine, or driving! Just you, your lunch, and someone to talk to if you want. I want you to taste every bite and really enjoy your food.

When we eat without distractions, it helps us digest our food, burn more calories, and eat only what our bodies need. We also come face to face with our sh*t. It’s a time when you may feel anxious, bored, or lonely. I want you to pay attention to those emotions and really feel them.
