How to reconcile Christianity and the Sacred Feminine at Easter
Blog
Happy Moonday!
Last week, we had a really hard morning with our kids – particularly with my almost 8-year-old daughter – and I want to talk about how I use Sacred Feminine Concepts to help my child get through a really tough situation.
My daughter started at a new camp and the first two days went great, but at the end of day two and on the morning of day three she just kept screaming ‘I don’t want to go to camp! I don’t want to go to camp!’
And I used all of my normal conscious parenting skills… and nothing worked (I know you’ve been there).
So I decided to bring in the Sacred Feminine skills.
These are the three Sacred Feminine tools that I brought into this parenting moment:
The Unseen Universe
Sacred Feminine Cycles
Psychic abilities
First I told my daughter, “I want you to remember that even though you are at camp and you are having a hard time making friends, there is a whole Unseen World around you, and the trees are your friends, and your guides are around you, and there are angels everywhere. So you’re never alone.”
And then I said “I want you to remember that our life is based on the cycles of the Earth, just like summer and fall and winter and spring. And after a hard winter, how does spring feel?’ She said, ‘Spring feels good’ and I said, ‘Right so you just had a winter day yesterday, and today is going to be like spring.”
And then finally, number three. My daughter sees auras in people, which means she always sees people’s colors. So I said to her, “Remember! Go find someone whose color is the same as yours.’”
And after we went over all these things, she took a deep breath, got out of the car, and said, “Okay, I’m ready.” I told her that I loved her, and she was off.
Weaving Sacred Feminine concepts into your everyday life doesn’t actually need to be more complicated than that.
I am a megaphone for the importance of going ALL in on Ceremonial work, making time for your Sacred Start, going on Sacred pilgrimage and retreat – and of course, discovering THE thing you’re here to offer the world.
But the actual work is about integrating what you come to know as true about yourself and the world in Ceremony – into your everyday life.
Let me know if this type of example is something you’d like to see more of, and if so, I’ll keep sharing how I’m weaving the Sacred Feminine into my own everyday life.
Simple actions to take your life back, know your worth & feel alive no matter how drained, overwhelmed and far gone you feel.
